Problem statement
Skateboarding in San Francisco is an illegal sport, making skateboarders outcasts for doing what they love.
Purpose Statement
The purpose of this study was to raise awareness regarding the lack of suitable places for people to skateboard.

Problem and Purpose Statement
Problem Statement: For musicians transporting musical equipment is a difficult process.
Purpose Statement: The purpose of this study was to synthesize the transportation process for
performing musicians.
Problem Statement: Skateboarding in San Francisco is considered illegal.
Purpose Statement: The purpose of this study was to raise awaremess about skateboarding and
its negative implications.
Problem Statement: Online gaming has become a solitary activity due to lack of community support.
Purpose Statement: The purpose of this study was to develop online community support that will effectively bring gamers together.

About Me
My name is Nick Rose and I am a graduating senior at SFSU. I currently am studying Visual Communication. My ideal career would be a position as a user interface designer for a major gaming developer.
I grew up in Southern California in a small town called El Centro. After I graduated high school I attended the local community college where I received my Associates in Fine Art. I then moved to San Francisco where I began my Bachelors in Visual Communication.
I have many interests which include graphic design, photography, music, skateboarding, gaming, painting, screenprinting, and probably a few others that I forgot to mention. These are the things that inspire me and keep me going.
